Travelling to Aviemore

By Train

Aviemore is on the main line to Inverness from Glasgow and Edinburgh (and vice versa).

By Bus

Aviemore is just off the A9 – the main road between Perth and Inverness. There are buses southwards to Aviemore from Inverness bus station, and northwards from Glasgow and Edinburgh bus stations (and stops in between).

By Air

You can fly to Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness and then continue by train, bus or car to Aviemore.

By Car

Aviemore is just off the A9 – the main road between Perth and Inverness.

From the south, head north and follow signs for Inverness. From Perth, follow the A9 for approximately 80 miles and take the first turnoff for Aviemore (B9152).

From the north, follow the A9 south from Inverness. Turn left on to the A95 then right on to the B9152.

Finding Cruachan

Cruachan is in the north of the village.

From the South: Go through the village centre, past the Retail Park, carry on for just under a mile and turn right on to Dalfaber Drive. Turn left on to Braeriach Court and first left on to Craigellachie Crescent. Cruachan can be found at number 13 Craigellachie Crescent, on the right hand side, close to the mini roundabout.

From the North: Not far into the village, turn left on to Dalfaber Drive, first left on to Braeriach Court and first left on to Craigellachie Crescent. Cruachan can be found at number 13 Craigellachie Crescent, on the right hand side, close to the mini roundabout.

Parking

Parking for up to two carsĀ is provided in the middle bay to the front of house.
